Design unique custom products for the mining and resource industries
Design unique product for customers in a variety of industrial applications
Work on and supervise a team of engineers, technologists, and CAD operators
Interface with customers and understand their individual requirements
Troubleshoot technical problems over the phone or in person
Requirements
The successful individual will possess…
A four year Electrical Engineering degree
8+ yrs electrical experience in power and controls
Experience in the mining industry and particularly with potash mines
An outstanding professional will have:
The ability to be registered as a P.Eng. in the province of Saskatchewan
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Attentiveness to detail and thoroughness in all aspects of their work
Excellent people skills and phone skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
The ability to meet tight deadlines and follow projects through to completion
Superb communication skills both in writing and verbally
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Creativity and the ability to think outside the box when appropriate
